AlphaGraphics in Wood Dale, Illinois, is looking for a talented individual to add to our current production team in a combined role within our digital printing and sign departments. As a Sign and Print Production Operator, you will work within our current team responsible for job setup and printing using our cut-sheet digital printers as well as our large format sign making printers.

Position: Digital Printing and Sign Department Specialist
Location: Wood Dale, Illinois

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints according to client specifications.
Manage inventory and supplies for both the digital printing and sign departments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of projects.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in all printed materials.
Operate and maintain sign-making equipment, including vinyl cutters and plotters.
Install and/or assist with the installation of signs and other large-format graphics as needed.

Qualifications:

No experience in digital printing and/or sign-making is required. We will train the right candidate.
Knowledge with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience with digital printers and/or large-format printing equipment is a plus.
Can perform basic bindery functions
Familiar and comfortable with Fiery Print Controller, a plus
Proficient with the use of Command Workstation to control digital workflow is a plus
Graphic design skills are a plus but not necessary
